Slack Data Access Disclosure

This section describes exactly what data our integration can access, how it is used, and how you can control it.

When you connect our integration to Slack, we may:

Read Access

Read messages sent to our bot in channels where it's invited. This includes message content, thread context, and basic channel information needed to provide responses.

Write Access

Post messages and create threaded conversations in response to user interactions. We only post when you or your team members interact with our bot.

Workspace Access

Access basic workspace information, channel lists, and user details needed to provide core functionality and proper bot responses.

We do NOT:

  • Access private channels or direct messages unless our bot is explicitly invited
  • Read messages in channels where our bot is not present
  • Sell, rent, or share your workspace content with advertisers or unrelated third parties
  • Store your Slack credentials directly; authentication is handled via Slack's secure OAuth process
  • Access files or attachments unless you specifically share them with our bot

Control: You can revoke access at any time by removing our app from your Slack workspace under Apps & Custom Integrations. Once removed, our bot will no longer be able to read or write any data to your Slack workspace.
